Not a promise, but maybe... 05/01/08
Hina told me about DreamHost finally being able to put 2ko on that private server sometime next week. However, there are no guarantees and I'll try and keep everyone up-to-date about it. It's been a long time since 2ko has been fully up, and I really hope we don't have to wait any longer. Again, with no help from the community to help us keep going, we don't know what else we could do right now. But let's hope DH keeps to their word about the private server plan.

Scheduled Downtime - March 21^st 03/13/08
You may refer to this post for more information. It seems as though DreamHost will be moving the "Spunky" cluster to a new datacenter. So in turn, this will make both 2ko and the CG pages unavailable for the better part of the day(s). However, my forum will remain open as it's not hosted on DreamHost and may be used as an alternative form of contact if needed.

Well well well, after a recent update on the CG Forums, it looks as if the boards could indeed be reopening soon. We're all still debating about the use of wakaba in place of all the current boards right now. If we do make the full switch, then all of the current content will be lost. It may be possible to get backups of the current boards that are running, but we're not sure how we are going to address the issue. Keep your eyes peeled out for more updates! Nya~!

Y'heard me! Ecchi is backup and running, folks, so get to the bleeding board! We're running ecchi on Wakaba now, just for a change, and to see if it's the program that's giving us problems, or just that we're too busy for DreamHost to handle xD
On the donations front, we're still in dire need of a service that'll allow us perverts to nab money off you, so if you know of any or use one yourself, please let us know at 2ko forum or Twin's forum, or somewhere half legible on the imageboards xD

Okay. We need some way of accepting donations that will allow us to start on the private server trail. I cannot use Paypal cos they have a strict use policy and trying to work around that may lead to my account being closed, and I don't want that. MoneyBookers would probably work except I don't have certain documents in order to verify my identity, which wasn't a problem before but now is, apparently. What we're after is a sort of merchant-service thing that will allow us to take donations in from people who want to support us and help 2koChan get back on four paws again.

Private server? 9/24/2007
The short of it; if we can raise enough money, we can move to a private server[which can handle our server load, big load -snicker-].

503 Errors. 9/10/2007
Sorry for the inconvenience. 2koChan is experiencing some issues with server load at the moment. As a result active connections have been limited to 20 (I think, ask Hrei...) for the time being, thus all the 503 errors. The boards linked above are the reminding boards that will remain active during this time. Many pages around the site are probably broken at the moment, please bear with us. Hrei can probably explain the situation better.
